Day One:
From Knysna we ride through amazing indigenous forest with rock pools and picnic sites, crossing into Klein Karoo vegetation and scenery with the most wonderful views. Passing through De Vlugte, we climb up the Prince Alfred Pass which is quite taxing, but the view from the top is worth every pedalstroke. From there it is downhill, through the Uniondale Poort, to the village of Uniondale where we overnight.

Day Two:
We return to Knysna along the same route as the previous day, this time having the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the Prince Alfred Pass on the downhill stretch and then over Buffelsnek. Back in the Knysna Forest the rock pools are most inviting and we finish the day with a flourish into Knysna.
